Getting Started

Get started with Convultra

Go from zero to tracking conversions in under 10 minutes. Create your account, install a small script, and connect your ad platforms.

First time here? When you sign up, Convultra's onboarding wizard walks you through setup step by step — tailored to your technical level. This page is the written reference for each step.

Onboarding wizard

After signing up, a 6-step wizard guides you through setup:

  1. Welcome — A quick introduction to Convultra
  2. Tell us about yourself — Choose your role: I'm a developer, I have a developer, or I'm not technical. This tailors the rest of the experience to you.
  3. Create your first project — Set up your website (or skip if you already have one)
  4. Install tracking — Developers see code snippets. Non-technical users see platform options (WordPress, Shopify) and can book a setup call. "Has a developer" users get a one-click email to send their developer the install guide.
  5. Test a conversion — Verify everything is working
  6. Connect ad platforms — Link Google Ads, Meta, or Microsoft Ads (or skip for later)

You can dismiss the wizard at any time. If you need to return to a step later, the wizard picks up where you left off.

Set up in 5 steps

1

Create your account

Head to convultra.com (opens in a new tab) and click Get Started. Sign up with your email or use Google SSO. Once you confirm your email, you'll land straight in the dashboard.

2

Create your first project

A project represents one website or app. Click Create Project and fill in:

  • Project name — e.g. "Main Website" or "Landing Page - Q1"
  • Domain — Your website URL (e.g. yoursite.com)
  • Timezone — For accurate reporting
  • Currency — For revenue and ROAS (USD, EUR, GBP, etc.)

When you enter your domain, Convultra automatically detects whether your site runs on WordPress, Shopify, or Wix. If detected, you will see a badge under the domain field and installation instructions will be tailored to your platform in the next step.

💡

You can change these settings later under Settings → Project. Platform detection also runs during onboarding to highlight the right install method for you.

3

Install the tracking code

How you install depends on your platform:

  • WordPress — Download and install the Convultra WordPress plugin from your dashboard. No code needed — the plugin handles everything including WooCommerce purchase tracking.
  • Shopify — Add the tracking snippet to your theme's <head> section via Online Store → Themes → Edit Code.
  • Any other site — Copy the snippet from your project dashboard and paste it into your site's <head> tag, just like Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel:
<script async src="https://cdn.convultra.com/ultra.min.js" data-convultra-key="YOUR_API_KEY"></script>

If your platform was auto-detected during project creation, the dashboard will default to the right installation method for you.

Not a developer? Share the SDK Installation guide with your engineering team, or use the onboarding wizard's "Email my developer" option. The script is only ~10KB — 9x smaller than the Meta Pixel.

4

Connect your ad platforms

This is where the magic happens. Go to Dashboard → Integrations and connect the platforms you run ads on:

  • Google Ads — Conversions API for Smart Bidding
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — Conversions API, iOS 14.5+ recovery
  • Microsoft Ads (Bing) — Offline Conversions API

Each platform uses a guided OAuth flow. You'll need admin access to the ad account.

💡

Tip: Connect every platform you run ads on. More platforms = more complete conversion picture.

5

See your first conversion

Once tracking is installed and a platform is connected, conversions start flowing in. Head to the Conversions page in your dashboard — your first conversion typically appears within minutes.
