Traffic Analytics
The Traffic Analytics page gives you a complete picture of who is visiting your site, where they are coming from, what pages they view, and what technology they use. Think of it as your lightweight, privacy-friendly alternative to Google Analytics — built right into Convultra.
Key Metrics
Five cards at the top summarize your traffic for the selected time range:
| Metric | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Unique Visitors | The number of distinct visitors to your site. |
| Total Pageviews | The total number of pages viewed across all visits. |
| Bounce Rate | The percentage of visitors who left after viewing only one page. |
| Avg Session Duration | The average amount of time visitors spend on your site per session. |
| Total Conversions | The number of conversions that occurred from this traffic. |
Traffic Over Time
The main chart shows a stacked bar graph of visitors and pageviews over time. Hover over any bar to see the exact numbers for that day.
Campaign / Paid Traffic Indicators
Days with significant paid or campaign traffic are marked with a megaphone icon on the chart. This appears when campaign traffic accounts for 15% or more of that day's total visitors.
Click the megaphone icon to see a breakdown of:
- Campaign name (from UTM parameters)
- Source (Google, Meta, etc.)
- Medium (CPC, paid social, etc.)
- Paid platform (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.)
Use the toggle in the chart header to show or hide these campaign indicators.
Campaign indicators help you visually correlate spikes in traffic with your marketing activity without leaving the dashboard.
Sources
The Sources section breaks down where your traffic is coming from. Use the tabs to switch between views:
Channels groups traffic by type: Organic Search, Paid Search, Social, Direct, Referral, Email, etc. This gives you the broadest view of your traffic mix.
Top Pages
See which pages on your site get the most attention. Use the tabs to switch between views:
Top Pages ranks pages by total pageviews. Useful for finding your most popular content.
Locations
Understand where your visitors are located geographically.
Countries lists visitor counts by country, complete with flag icons for quick scanning.
Technology
See what browsers, operating systems, and devices your visitors use.
Browsers — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and others. Useful for knowing which browsers to prioritize when testing.
AI Referral Analytics
Convultra tracks visitors arriving from AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google Gemini, and others.
For each AI referral source, you can see:
- Visitor count — How many visitors came from that AI platform
- Revenue attribution — Revenue generated from AI-referred visitors
This is increasingly important as more users discover products and services through AI assistants rather than traditional search.
AI referral tracking works automatically. No extra configuration is needed — Convultra detects these referral sources from the visitor's HTTP headers and referrer data.
Bot Traffic Detection
Convultra automatically detects and filters bot traffic so your analytics reflect real human visitors. Known bots (search engine crawlers, monitoring tools, scrapers) are excluded from your metrics by default.
You can review detected bot traffic in the Bot Traffic section at the bottom of the page to verify that legitimate traffic is not being filtered out.
