Organic Search
The Organic Search page shows how your site performs in Google Search results. It pulls data directly from Google Search Console, so you can see keyword rankings, clicks, impressions, and more without leaving Convultra.
This page requires a Google Search Console integration. If you have not connected it yet, go to Integrations to set it up. You will need to verify ownership of your domain in Google Search Console first.
Summary Stats
Four metric cards at the top give you the big picture for the selected time range:
| Metric | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Total Clicks | The number of times someone clicked through to your site from Google Search results. |
| Total Impressions | The number of times your site appeared in Google Search results (whether or not it was clicked). |
| Average CTR | Your average click-through rate — the percentage of impressions that resulted in a click. |
| Average Position | Your average ranking position across all queries. Lower numbers are better (position 1 = top result). |
Search Performance Chart
The main chart shows clicks and impressions over time as overlaid trend lines. Use this to spot trends — for example, a steady rise in impressions without a matching rise in clicks may mean your rankings are improving but your titles or meta descriptions need work.
Top Search Queries
The queries table shows exactly what people are searching for when they find your site. Each row includes:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Query | The search term used in Google. |
| Clicks | How many times that query led to a click to your site. |
| Impressions | How many times your site appeared for that query. |
| CTR | Click-through rate for that specific query. |
| Position | Your average ranking position for that query. |
Position Color Coding
The position column is color-coded to help you quickly assess ranking performance:
- Green (position 1-3) — Top positions. These queries are performing well.
- Amber (position 4-10) — First page but below the top spots. Good candidates for optimization.
- Gray (position 11+) — Second page or beyond. These queries may need more attention to break onto page one.
Queries in the amber zone (positions 4-10) are often your biggest opportunities. Small improvements to content or on-page SEO can push them into the top 3, which typically results in a significant jump in clicks.
Top Pages
This table ranks your site's pages by the number of organic clicks they receive. Use it to identify which pages are driving the most search traffic and which pages might benefit from SEO improvements.
Device Breakdown
See how your organic search traffic splits across device types:
- Desktop — Visitors searching from a computer
- Mobile — Visitors searching from a phone
- Tablet — Visitors searching from a tablet
This can help you prioritize mobile optimization if a large share of your organic traffic comes from mobile devices.
Country Breakdown
The country breakdown shows which countries your organic search traffic comes from, displayed with flag icons. This is useful for understanding your geographic reach and for planning localized content or international SEO efforts.
Data Delay
Google Search Console data has a 3-day delay. This is a limitation of Google's API, not Convultra. The most recent 3 days of data will not be available on this page. For real-time traffic data, use the Traffic Analytics page instead.
